Development of a Super Center within one mile of the 3,000 acre North Park, Gem of the Allegheny County Park system, may have detrimental effects. Pine Creek which flows into the Allegheny River, is located on the property that is proposed to be developed into a Super Store. Devlin Park, with ball fields, tennis courts and playgrounds used by local children is located next to Blazier Drive and will also be affected.
